Local employment promotion project for single-parent households and second-job seekers allows flexible “home call center” work
Okinawa Cellular, Acyan, and KDDI Evolva come together to make remote employment more accessible.
Okinawa, Japan, August 4, 2023 — In April 2023, Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company (headquartered in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture), Acyan Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo), and KDDI Evolva, Inc. (headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) launched a 3-month project aimed at promoting employment in rural areas. Many job seekers—who live in these areas—desire flexible work environments that reflect their changing lifestyles, and the project would help match them with companies trying to fulfill employment.
In doing so, the three companies jointly solved problems of network, security, and human resource development that prevented remote work and job seekers who wanted to work from their own “home call centers.”
This project was planned by Acyan and successfully executed in remote areas of Okinawa Prefecture for Acyan's technical support service, which also serves as the contact center for KDDI Evolva, Inc. in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
